Streets book, twenty years later

These are just a few images from the book 'Streets' that I shot and published twenty years ago this month. I spent a year shooting and interviewing young homeless people on the streets of london against a white background. I managed to get sponsorship to do an exhibition and publish a book. The project was backed by homelessness charity Shelter and  design was by Sea Design. Due to Government inaction the problems of homelessness for people of all ages and backgrounds have grown even more acute over the last twenty years.

The weekend

I photographed and filmed these old friends enjoying a sunny summer's weekend in London last month. There is nothing quite like shooting street cast models to capture authentic moments and connections.

Grey Goose Vodka shoot in Cape Town

London branding agency Ragged Edge commissioned me to shoot scenarios of young people enjoying Grey Goose Vodka. We jetted off to Cape Town, my favorite sunny location for great models and production facilities. We had a fun day in a beautiful location house overlooking a sandy bay. Below are a few images from the shoot.

One Life Campaign shot in Cape Town

One Life are a company that provide cross-border asset and wealth management. They were undergoing a rebrand and I was asked to shoot stills and a short film for the launch. I have shot in Cape Town on many occasions and it was the preferred location again for this wonderful shoot which was all about photographing and filming fun leisure pursuits. Nine scenarios in diverse locations around the city were shot over three days with ten models.

Shoot for Hartmann in Cape Town

Hartmann provide a range of healthcare related products and services worldwide. 

The aim of this shoot was to create a suite of images to show how Hartmann helps to enrich lives with its products. First aiders, surgeons employees and consumers all form the bigger picture of what Hartmann is. My task was to capture images of energy and life, entertainment, relaxation and confidence. Shot in Cape Town, South Africa, we spent a very rewarding ten days shooting more than sixty models over a wide range of scenarios and locations.
